STARTING MONDAY (hopefully I remember that, heh. ;P)

Unnecessarily long title, I know. But it is true! I mentioned this awhile back on our Facebook page (*ahem*), we are going to start having a daily “guess this quote” contest. Each correct answer – okay, I hear your ass clowns grumbling in the back; yes you can just Google it and no it doesn’t matter so shut the fuck up and hold the questions until you hear the whole thing…okay?

Um, where was I? Oh yes, each correct answer is worth $0.05 cents in store credit. A number will be randomly generated by the Internet based on the number of correct answers; that person will be private messaged through Facebook for their email address and have a gift certificate code generated after that. That’s good for anything in the store. Ya, it ain’t shit to start, but say I post a few quotes a day, you go get enough friends to compete that I have to lower it to once a day…I think you can follow the line of thought.

This idea feels so ’90s radio station – just cheesy as hell. But hey…”it will please me.” …What? …no clip? Oh, I thought we had a clip…nevermind, stupid legal beagle internet jerks.

I’ve been thinking a bit recently about how to interact with our customers on a daily basis in a way that is far more casual and direct than email. Message boards are hard to build (user-wise) and while we will have a fancy new Word Press front page to replace this shitty one any day now, I was thinking something a step further.

So I decided to bring back our Facebook page. Check out our page by clicking here and become a fan! Bonnie and I will post random shit on there all the time, probably answer questions and do some light chatting when possible. Also, it’ll begin to be the place where we’ll break news regarding pre-orders, sales, coupons, etc. first, even before the front page! And I’m sure there will be some Facebook-exclusive deals as well.
