Dropkick Murphys – Live On Lansdowne Boston MA (2xLP + CD)

Dropkick Murphys have a new live album hitting stores next month, featuring a live show “recorded during our string of St. Patrick’s Day shows in 2009 “LIVE ON LANSDOWNE” features an entirely different track listing from the previous DKM live album release” or so says the official Dropkick blog. Live on St. Patrick’s Day is a damn, damn fine live album so I am have high hopes for it.

Vinyl version comes out March 16th and includes “a bonus CD,” which I assume is marketing for the same shit, different format, but I don’t know for sure at this point.

Audioslave – Audioslave

Music on Vinyl strikes into the hard rock back catalog yet again with their upcoming reissue of Audioslave’s self-titled debut. Reissued as a double 180 gram record set, most likely a nice jacket (no details about that part yet, just assuming based on their other 2xLP releases) and should prove to be an amazing sounding record.

We expect these in mid-March, a couple weeks after their European release date of the beginning of March.

Korn – Life Is Peachy

Music on Vinyl’s next few reissues have been announced and Nerd Alert has the pre-orders for them! To start, we have the 1996 sophomore album from nu-metalers, Korn. This will be pressed on 180 gram vinyl and will sound fabulous (seeing as I have no other reason to assume anything less from this top-notch label out of the Netherlands.

We expect these in mid-March (the release date we have is for the European release).

Very excited to announce that we have begun taking pre-orders for Atlantic Records’ upcoming vinyl reissues of three of Pantera’s albums. All I know about these is that all three are being pressed as double LPs; other than that, no idea at the moment. =\

Pantera – Cowboys From Hell

Pantera – Far Beyond Driven

Pantera – Vulgar Display of Power

These are all supposed to hit stores on April 17th, so if that stays true, we should have them around the same time, give or take a week or so (as always seems to be the case).
